My Joe Gibbs ECSB - stock except for a flow master with a cut out and I replaced the stock air box with a cheap cone filter. I'm seeing 6-7 lbs right now.

08' RST 5.3 - cam, full bolt-ons, 3600 stall and tune.

1st run was a 20 roll and he was 3-4 ahead at 120. He got a pretty good jump since he started in 1st and I started in D. Next time I'll drop it down..

2nd run was a 60 roll and he was 1 ahead at 120.

I'm waiting on my friend to get into town to install a 3.2 pulley, 4" fwi and tune it then I'm going to run him again.. I should be at 10-11 lbs then. Any predictions on the next race?

Oh snap my buddy is wanting to run that RST isn't that Juan aka Lil Dipper???? He was a RST also but a 4.8L

Ya it's Jaun lol a friend of mine from San Antonio (Tim, TX BLOWN TBSS) is doing the install and tune. Just waiting on him to get into town in a few weeks since he plays for the Ft. Worth Cats and they're season is about to start.

What does your buddy have done to his 4.8?

 

I reconized it lol, yeah a pulley and a tune and a set of headers will wake ur truck a lot BIG TIME!!!!! My buddy has a cammed 4.8 crew cab RST but it runs good being a 4.8 u think u can set something up with Juan to run my friend?

 

Ya i will talk to him later and try and set something up.. Damn I just watched a few videos of your truck and holy **** that thing hauls ***! I want to see that beast in person.

 

He knows my truck too but I blew the motor once the new block goes in I'll show it to u maybe next month

 

Ah man, that sucks. What happened?? Your truck might be a good race for my friend.. I could probably set you up a race with him when you get it back together.. Do you guys go to the Tuesday GM unlimited meet in Garland?

 

What does ur friend have? I pushed my stock bottomend too much blew at 735rwhp and then again at 630rwhp lol We only go to the north Dallas ones wednsdays and Thursdays
