Default jaguar tastes great!

probably not much of a story, but i had a new x type jag try me on the way to work this morning.

i think they are a souped up ford taurus with a tiny v-8 and some different sheetmetal? i dont know.

he blasted around me about 30, i punched in and caught him by the 1-2 shift....from them i pulled him about 4 lengths until he gave up around 90...

my new cam felt like it was pulling pretty decent. cant wait to get my 100 shot on this little 4.8.

i really like it, although i feel there is more in it.... mostly the gears and open diff are killing me though. i may step up to a wheatley tune shortly...this predator has reached its limits!

i am going to the track tonight, in the 1/8th mile to see how much i gained. i ran a 9.48 with a 2.1 60ft a few weeks ago, before the cam and retune. i am hoping to get down in the 8's..... then i have a 100 shot dry kit in my shop...just have to get it in there.

Nice kill, but must have been a n/a version. My ex had a xjr supercharged. Going 150 felt like 70mph in my truck. Too expensive imo. Took it to the track though and ran a 13.7 @104 2.2 60'. Not bad for a 4400 luxury car. lol
