So my wife and I are at a carlot looking at a Cadi CTS for her to drive. We're walking back to the truck and a 95 body style mustang goes by reving his motor and such so I tell my wife to hurry and get in. She doesn't like to be with me when i start messing around but if i give her a little warning she's cool. So i catch the mustang at a light and I can see it has paper plates so i'm thinking the guy must have just got it and i figure the way he was driving he might be wanting to try it out. There's several cars around so i slowly work my way through and get next to him. I give the ole truck a little throttle to see if he's game. (just enough so as to not give myself away, ya'll know how it's done). Of course he bites and I give him a slight jump and I nail it. I pull a truck on him and shut it down at about 85 and he flies by. I see that we're headed to the same store so I follow him in. He parks and I pull up behind him with my window down.

me- Thanks for the run

him- Yeah i'll run you again when it's not cutting out.

me- oh yeah?

him- yeah i washed the motor the other day and it's cutting out real bad. It's chipped and everything it's just cutting out.

me- Oh well, thanks anyway

him- My sister's got a camaro that she'll race you with. LT1 camaro it'll run.

me- Let's do it.

him- This ain't your average LT1 it's hopped up

me- whenever, this is just a stock ole truck

him- That thing aint stock!!

me- I laugh and say alright i'll see ya later.

Poor guy had a couple of girls he was trying to impress, kinda felt bad for him. I know i shouldn't be picking on a poor little mustang but i was just trying to have a little fun plus this guy needed to find out where he stood with the car since it was new to him and all. I was just trying to help him out.

I haven't personally been to the track with it but I was there when it ran a 12.25 at 111mph. I bought it about a month after that from a friend. It has some trans issues and a few things I need to do to it. I hope to get it into the 11's. I'm gonna try to have it ready to go to the track again in the Fall.
