I've got a buddy with an 03 Cobra. Ported stock blower, different pulleys, ditched some interior pieces to lighten it up, we did a solid axle swap in the rear, and a cuople other things. Doesnt look super built but it dynoed 502 on street tune and gets a little air under front tire for a best of 10.4 in the quarter.

Iv run into a few of these cobras, they really shine in third gear seems like, even from a 20 roll I think you have a decent chance cause he will have to start in first, spin or not there first gear just aint that quick on the cobras, you go any faster I think you will hang with his second gear but he will pull away when he grabs third. your trap speed is just to low to hang with that car after 70mph. get him good down low and he will have a fight on his hands.

116 isnt beating a 500rwhp+ cobra from a roll. Hope you get a dig ONLY. Otherwise, you going home with less money.

I trapped 116, and for a car that had the same power as me, I didn't lose that bad. Meaning, we're still counting car lengths instead of bus lengths lol. What sort of converter do you have, OP? If you can lock it up, the cobra is gonna have a hell of a fight on his hands regardless what roll you run from.

i have a tcs converter from the havasu factory , its a 3200 billet stall. drops to 4k rpms when it shifts .shifting at 6540 rpms from 1st to second and a lil less from 2-3rd. according to my logs anyway.

You should take him, 116 is the highest iv ever seen a cobra with the stock blower trap out here, but its all in the low in, if he pulls you down low your done but if you get ahead of him I dont think he will pass you vary ease. I ran 11.5 @ 116 with a 1.64 60 foot and I raced a fully bolted 18 psi cobra from a 50 roll once and I pulled him 1.5 cars to 80 and it stayed there till I ran out of gear.

new news , was talking to him on a different web site and he wont go from a dig , he wants 40-140 lol , i told him the best i will do for you is a 30-110-120 but im not taking this truck 140 lol. he didnt seem to be interested but will see. ill keep callin him out till he snaps...lol
