Personally I like the Titans. If I was buying a new truck I would seriously consider one. The money I saved buying a used silvy hasn't been offset by the mods I have done for speed.

good link...ya stock for stock... a titan will put a hurting on any of the big three. I would only hope it would beat a CC 4x4 with the 5.3l... the silverado is giving up a lot of hp and cubes in a race vs the same size/style titan.

15.6 is not bad at all.. i cant wait for the aftermarket to bust wide open for the giant pandas, lol

Had one try me out*disclaimer-I,in no way, provoked the race and would never try to pick on a truck with fewer mods than me* . He told me he had already beaten a bunch of trucks like mine (scsb 6.0L cammed/heads/blah blah blah) and several hemi trucks by a good bit. He wanted me to honk three times, but I told him to just take off whenever he felt like it. He did, I spun forever, caught and passed him spinning, finally hooked up and put a couple of football fields on him, then let up until he caught back up. I almost had him sold on my truck being a bolt on 5.3L and the fact that he had only been running 4.8L trucks. I couldn't keep a straight face, so I finally came clean and spouted off a few of the mods(the ones I used anyways). I was hoping he had some mods done where I would have had an excuse for the spray, but he was just a newbie truck owner, fresh out of a 4.6L Ford 4x4. I would imagine anything felt fast after getting out of that.

Anyway....seemed pretty quick for stock, but its hard for me to tell anymore.

Stillen is offering a blower for them now. I think it could put the QC in the 14's range. I'm a fan of the Titans btw, just can't justify owning one. They're damn nice trucks.

I raced one. Read my thread labeled smoked a titan last night. It is less than halfway down. Not much of a race in my opinion.

If a Titan was so slow they wouldn't be mentioned here..

What is a street race exactly and how do you know who is pushing their ride 2 max power or who is worried about getting in an accident or just messin around!

Once again i can't express enough listing an unbiased opinion!!! know what i mean!!!

I'm sure you can find Titan folks claiming to beat Mustang GT's all day long in a Titan fourum or something 2 that nature if you catch my drift...facts are facts just click on the link below!!

http://www.caranddriver.com/comparis...ups-page7.html

Stock 4 Stock this article shows a Titan is 1.2 seconds faster 0-60 than a 5.3 silverado of the same size (crew cab) which tied toyota for dead last. . It takes a decent amount of mods 2 make up 4 that ..funny how much a Titan gets showed no love in a GM based site cause it is considered a rice truck!!!

Lets be real here fellas a Nissan is employing a whole bunch of workers in Canton, Mississippi USA. Some domestics are built in mexico or canada. Knock a Titan u knock the USA in some ways....u knock a chevy u knock mexico in some!!

Just my 2 cents...Cheers guys!

I have always been a GM man.And would have liked to give my money to Chevy for a Silverado but their body style is just 2 old 4 my taste. I'm saving my money for an 09' Camaro if that actually happens. ...Titan will be payed off by then....I can use my low end TQ to tow her to the track once she is all fixed up!!!
