Default Harley Killed

Please excuse my Ford ignorance, I have no idea the year or model # but this very nice looking black Ford Harley edition pulled onto the 3 lane road beside me and I gave him the good 'ol nod.

We pulled up to the light together and I put the transfer case into 4wd bot sure if he was going to play, or not.
Sure enough the light greens and he launches, a split second ahead of me but as he slammed on the gas and lost a small bit of traction I was off and 2 lengths ahead in an instant! Everything inside my cab is now in the backseat of my truck.
We slowed to a stop and he asked "WTF you got in that???"
I told him. He was like, "well it must come on before mine" I just smiled and waved good-bye.

Sometimes the road to work is isn't all that bad!

LOL, yea, should have told him you had a throttle body spacer and chrome valve cover bolts, but the electric turbo was being shipped tomorrow.

Have you done anything to your 4wd drivetrain? Or are they capable of that much power? Do you switch out before the shift? i think i read u did at the track maybe?

Right. I've tried shifting it back to 2wd both ways doesnt seem to make any difference in my time so i just shift it back to 2wd before the 1-2.
Transfer cae is stock, no mods.

I got my best times by launching in 4wd and as soon as your moving mashing the 2wd button, always nets a 2.00 60ft. Whats crazy is I managed a 1.9 60ft in 2wd with firestones aired down to 15 psi and the g80 . Ive never been able to duplicate it even with an auburn rear.

What sort of 60s do you get at the track trevert?

My best has been a 1.86 so far but I've made consistant 1.88's so far.
I've dropped another 40lbs from the truck and the Rollpan is replacing my bumper next week.
Meth is going in next week also.
I hope to do a little better in cooler weather come this October 25th!
