Finally raced the 06 Charger, it was a little longer than a 1/4 mile there was nothing to mark the end of the 1/4 so we used the start of a building as our finish line it was 3 tenths of a mile. Well anyway right from the hole I shot 1 truck length ahead, he stayed right by my back tire the hole way didn't gain at all until we came up to what was probably the 1/4 mile spot and than he just started making up ground pretty fast and was at my front tire at the end of the 3 tenth mark. any farther and he would have smoked me, I can't believe how fast he made up ground at the end.
Also I have another race tonight before work it is a 97/98 mustang saleen I guess it comes with a SC from the factory. Can anyone guess how I will do, Everybody at work is gunning for me now. I don't want to lose.

sounds like an awesome race.. i stood pretty much even with one on the interstate the other nite... but we were weaving in and out of traffic so it wasnt really a good race.

the saleen race will be close... he should probably whip you if he can drive well and he doesnt have any probs with the car... but good luck.

 

That sounds like a good race, they do come supercharged from the factory!

Nice kill. I read about the charger and they are 4100 pounds and run around a 14.1 in the quarter, pulling hard on the top end. A co worker of mine has one and I have been waiting to catch him in the morning on the way into work.
