Coming home from the movies (CARS is the BEST movie!!!!! HAHA) tonight on the interstate. There was this 01ish? F-150 Supercrew 4x4 that eased up beside me and then gassed on it, he has some straight pipes or something, it sounded horrible. I had my cruise on bout 72ish when he done this, so i waited for bout 2-3 miles to let the traffic clear. I get beside him, he is patting the gas making it pop some. I wave to him just messing around and he hammered on it, im guessing it was a 4.6 mabye or if it was a 5.4 it was hilarious, i let him get on ahead bout 2 lengths then get on it a lil and catch up to him..
we have bout a 1.5 miles in front of us that there are no cars in sight. so again i let him have the jump, i guess he was thinkin that i had given it all i had earlier. I nail it and it downshifts from 75 to 2nd.. i pull a lot of ground be the time it shifts out to 3rd..
Again he wants to play after i slowed down. still we have a bunch of room in front of us.. so i let him get about 5 lengths in front of me before i nail it again.. i sucked him up doin bout 100 and hold it till bout 125-130ish.. and then just let off and let the cruise catch at bout 70.. it took him almost 4miles before he caught up..
He started it so i finished it, and i got off my exit and came home...
interesting night huh?? or a waste of gas...

By the way,, the movie Cars is wayyyy better than Fast and the furious3 tokyo drift.

sounds like you ran a 4.6 with 3.55 gears and taller tires. The reason you ran him down at 100 is b/c his truck stopped at 98 mph.

 

yea thats what i figured.. it was pretty pathetic.. but he had stock what looked like Wrangler A/Ts. but his straights sounded horrible...
The funnest thing is to let someone get their truck to 98 or where ever it cuts off and then hammer on it and leave them.
