Default Got killed by a duramax

I was out saturday night when a red duramax diesel truck with a heavy *** looking cattle guard lined up next to me. He was reving it up wanting to race so as soon as the light turned green I took off 1 truck length ahead of him. But, a second later all I see a cloud of black smoke and he passes me to about 5 or 6 lengths in front. I had no Idea those big *** trucks could move that quick. Anyways, I am ordering a wet kit today so I can look for him and hopefully kick his ***. My brother knows that truck and all he has is a bullydog and exhuast. Will I have a chance with an extended cab 5.3 with 20's, flowmasters, knn, and a 100 wet shot?

Depends on the Duramax you run into. If he has a trans and big tune you will probably get smoked even with the 100 shot. I can add 300 ponies to the rear wheels with just tuning and then another 250 with a shot of nitrous.......

I will let everyone know what happens in the next couple of weeks. And, after seeing your video I would be happpy just not getting smoked by 6 truck lenths. I am hoping to win though.

Not from a dig, but from a 20 roll you will. the torque off the line with those doin a 4wd launch is incredible.my dad has a chiped intake and exhaust powerstroke.

You might get him from a 20 mph roll, but from a 70mph roll on the hwy, I think it's over for you, especially if he has a built trans.

I got my dad to let me take one off the lot for a day. In stock trim they are impressive and the torque is nuts. Modded they are pretty sick. If he has one of those expensive tuners and a few supporting mods, you are going to need alot more than that I would think.
LIKE...... 18" DR, a converter, at least a 150 and a cam and headers. That should get you near him, but those make sick power and as mentioned in 4wd launching off boost, you are going to play catch up.
