5.9L in a ram is with an exhaust and intake is good for about a 15.9 in the 1/4mile, they do have some good low end grunt but fall on it's face at higher rpm's, with some work they can be made to move. Good kill.

Thanks guys..... i was pretty happy after the race..... see i drive to the city prolly1-3 times a week which is 40 miles or so.... i want some gears i really want 4.10 but i really dont know.... which is prolly the best all around gear i.e for me now... for mw when i get a cam/tc in the truck....thanks guys..really am glad i found this site

 

This is a great site! ... an welcome. For infor on RPM's at ??? speed go to www.ringpinion.com and click on the calculator in the horizontal bar at the top of the screen. I got 4.56's on 31.5" tires and love it. Be careful about street racing. In Illinois you get hit BIG if you get a drag racing ticket. Might be loss of license for a year.. not sure but I think so.
