You have to either be empty or ask Bucks to empty it before they put it in the freezer or you won't get a good fill. If they try to add to a half full bottle you'll get air and if you take it to them last minute and can't let them get it good and cold you get th esame thing. If you ask them to empty and freeeze it you'll get 12lbs in a 10lb tank or atleast it feels like it. Last time they did mine that way I had 1200psi on a cold bottle

 

Well I know better now...that was my first nitrous refill, so I just assumed they were bright enough to empty the bottle first...oh well, we live and learn!!

 

Yeah i always take it to them completely empty and they put it in the freezer for a good while. They've always filled mine up pretty good. NEVER go to meanstreet to get it filled, they don't freeze they don't let it all out and the 1 time i went it felt like the bottle was lighter that it was, needless to say i was completely out before i got home. But about how long does a bottle last ya'll guys, as far as "hits" and seconds used.

 

I have had the nitrous for 2 months almost, but have only used it a few times. I went through 5#'s on 5 hits with the 100 shot pills...each run was about 10 seconds...so my guess is about 2 minutes of straight use with a 100 shot and a 10# bottle.

 

I take that back...probably about 3 minutes...I forgot that I wasted some while stting up my purge, and I had a leak as well which drained a little. Leak is fixed now, and I bumped up to a 125 shot, so we will see how long it lasts.

 

Yeah i purge the **** outta mine, i have the WS6 hood and i purge out the two openings in the hood so it's mostly for show. Last night was the first time i ever purged before i ran and it literally took my breathe. I started in 2nd and didn't really lay into until 25mph and it went 25-90 so fast i got light headed. That's just with the 75 pills, i'm bumpin it up 100 when i get new plugs.

 

umm not sure how long mine lasts but it last a good bit. but i do have a big 15# bottle and a pretty healthy shot.

 

When I was trouble shooting my nitrous problem I was able to test the purity of my nitrous at the chem lab at Chico State. I would say that 99.8% nitrous is perfect when accounting for error. Chemistry rocks.

 

The first full day I had my nitrous setup on my truck I went through 3 bottles.

18th...as in later today, or November 18th?? I wont turn down a race with anyone...I dont really care if I win or lose at the track...its always fun. Most of my track stuff is for testing only. I wont have slicks, so I'm not sure how the nitrous is going to hold up.
