Don't have nothing against 350Z's but they are not fast cars. Yea, driving your truck around then hopping in a 350Z yeah it's going to seem fast. Agreed, saying you destroyed a 350Z w/ your mods is a little far fetched, but if he was a crappy driver or wasn't racing...it's possible. Anyway

350Z=Fast compared to a truck w/ minor mods

350Z=Slow compared to any other "fast cars"

A "fast car" really depends on what you are around...

There is nothing "fast" about a 14.1, stock or not.

I love how people like to go out spend $30k and think their car is fast as ****. Yeah 350z's are quick for what they are.But i like the fact i could go out buy a used stock 5.0 stang and keep up with the $30k sports cars for 1/10th the price.

Well since the dude who posted this hasn't been around to defend his position, I'll chime in here since I drive a truck set up very similar to his. I've raced SEVERAL 350Zs and G35s on the street and I have never been beaten by one. I've had some good runs with a few but have never seen one get away from me so I think his story sounds entirely feasible. Honestly I think those cars might be a little overrated because something that small pushing 300 horse should be good for 13s but that's just my opinion.
