I have two friends at school that have been talking a lot of smack recently on my truck. I have a bone-stock 2006 Silverado RCSB with the 5.3. One of the trucks is a 1996 RCSB Silverado with the 5.7 350 with only flowmasters and a 3" lift on 33's. The other is a 2005 F-150 RCSB with the v8 (4.6?) and flowmaster 80 series. I think I can take them both, but what are your opinions?

 

You can spank them like a red headed step child. Having 33's are going to kill the obs, and fords with 4.6 or the 5.4 aren't as fast as the 5.3. Get a good launch and take it to them

I was getting a lot of crap from the ricers at school until i opened up on a heavily modified civic and beat him on the street and told people in school about it. So now the truck guys are saying that i cant beat them. I just hope the 383 Monte Carlo or 351W Mustang dont say anything...

 

You have the truck to beat em but anything can happen in a race. Reaction times pwns.....

 

You should have absolutely no problem what so ever beating them. The only way you will loose is if you dont hook up. But even with a bad launch you should walk on them.

 

feather it off the line and when you feel like you have the bite then plant your right foot firmly on the skinny pedal and watch them grow smaller in your rear view...

 

if you spin alot off the line, then go from a 30 punch roll or something. you'll walk all over them

see if their willing to put money on it. that will show how confident they are about their trucks.
