haha, my truck looks sporty, and lowered, and everyone trys to run it, you would be surprise. They think its slow or something with the big ole 20s. Alot of people try to play with me to see what the truck can do.... I get cut off, you name it, its daily... Then again alot of people also think Im the law or a trooper. I get that alot at times as well. So they just pull over and get out of my way. Especially if Im cruising fast, but when Im cruising slow, its a different ball game. Then again alot of people get mad at my truck and start cussing cause they can not see **** in it, like who is driving or who is inside the truck, and if Im even looking at them. I get all sorta of mean faces and mugs. My windows are 2.5% tint all around and 35% on the windshield.

The people who do play with me, get annihilated so bad, where its not even funny, so they slow down, and stay behind me even after Im cruising again. People try to run my truck almost every time I drive it. Has lots to do with the looks for sure.

A police vehicle, even an unmarked vehicle is not required to follow the laws of the road. A police vehicle is an emergency vehicle and is exempt. Also an officer has up to a year to issue a ticket after a violation. I wouldn't report anything.

How would they know he is the one reporting it? You can report anonymously.

And I don't believe the part about them being exempt. EVERYONE has rules/laws.

Technically even emergency vehicles are supposed to fallow road laws. Including police and ambulances.... With lights on only 10-15 mph over the speed limit is deemed ok...

Scott and Wilde are right and do have a point. young lady got killed here locally, I think officer was doing 100mph with no lights or siren, and smashed into her as she was pulling out into the intersection. I remember some sort of debate and action was sort, and he was definitely in the wrong for not using the vehicle properly.

both me and the officer were in the wrong, cause the guy was racing the ford when i cut him off. I cant point a finger here.

Every state may be diferent. In NY an emergency vehicle is not required to follow the Vehicle and Traffic Laws. That does not dismiss the recklessness that the officer used in the situation that Sleeperlqx described. An officer or dept could be held liable for the situation that Sleeperlqx described, and should be. A department will set regulations that are more strict than the State, and if an officer was in violation of anything it would be that. If you hear of a rule where the officer can not exceed a certain speed, it is usually set by the dept. As far as an anonymously reported incident, they are rarely anonymous.

A few years back I was on the highway doing about 65 and on the high way and on the servos road beside me is a tahoe cop car going like 80 gos thought the ditch to get on the high way with no lights on might i add and could clearly see me cause he was behind me then did this maneuver. He cut me off so bad i slamed on my brakes and had to go into the other lane and pray to god no one was there if i hadnt of i would of hit him right in the rear driver door. So after that he keeps going 80ish and about a mile down the road turns on his lights I wanted to kick his *** so bad
