Haven't had a race in over a year because the truck's been down but I couldn't of asked for a better welcome back race!
Around 1 am heading through Sacramento I was cruising along at 70 mph in the middle lane and a silver lightning cruises on by me at 80 and throws me a rev...my cut out was open so I guess he noticed. So I speed up and just before I get even he hammers it catching me off guard. By the time I floor it he's got a good two second jump on me. 80 was a bad spot for me as I drop into 2nd gear, spin my tires, then up shift to 3rd gear and spin my tires and finally catch at around 95 and by then he's 3 ahead of me...
I stop his pull and start pulling on him immediately and by 115 were even and by 120 his front bumper is kissing my tailgate and fading fast. I break it off and he proceeds to do a -by at 130?!?!
WTF?? Anyways, I was hoping that we'd line up again and get a fair race going but he merged into the far right lanes and into traffic and apparently didn't want to play anymore. I paced him in the clear lanes but he didn't want any more so I was kinda bummed but was happy to finally get some action.

Yeah I don't think he took me seriously being that I'm more or less a fat and heavy CCSB.

for me they always haul *** passed me and then when i catch em they usually turn onto a side street really fast outta nowhere. Usually the only good races I get are between me and parke10 but that gets boring after awhile..

 

Guys, we have to organize some sort of pt.net meet at here in vegas at lvms or something. There are so many lightning owners in vegas that think they are the cream of the crop. It would be so satisfying to watch them and the SRT-10's go down in smoke.

The fastest GM truck that ive seen at the track was a 13 second diesel. It would be satisfying to see you guys running low 12's or 11's here. hahaha

The quickest gas silvy ive seen was terrys SS and he ran a 14.5.

Count me in! I've been itching to go to LV anyways, and I'd rather do it for a gtg than another gambling excursion. Also LV is central to Pheonix, Reno, S.F. and LA. soo it could be a good turn out if we get a lot of fan fare going.
