Anyone just go out and look for a race?

I have an 06' 2wd SSS, and sometimes I just got board! I just got my custom tune and haven't raced anybody with it yet. So over the long weekend I went out looked for someone to race. My wife said that I was nuts, but to be careful. Great wife by the way! I drove around in my area for about an hour, just looking for someone. There was many trucks to race, like some hemi's, titans, and a couple of fords, but nobody wanted too. WTH! Maybe it just wasn't meant to be that night, and people had their families with them and its the start of the holidays. The temp was just right too, it was about 54* out and my truck was running great. So on my way home after being depressed that I couldn't find anyone, I see this 02' or 03' Ford Triton escb that was lowered and had an exshaust on it with some (look like 18's). Nice truck too. I wip the truck around to chase is a$$ down. I catch up to him, and we were doing about 45, I thinking, damn, I'm in that dreaded of 40 to 50 mph zone. I kept on egging him on, but I could see his wife or girlfriend, shaking her head NO to him. He kept looking over, like he wanted to get it on, but she wouldn't let him. We came to a light, and I'm looking over at him like, well? Still nothing. So we take off from the light and we're doing about 15 or so, and he nails it. I was like, you dick! He got about two trucks on me before I knew it, thats when I see him taking off. I just floored it, my truck downshifted into first, and it launched like it never launched before. It felt like the front end came off the ground! The tune helped quite a bit with catching up game that I had to play, cuz it didn't shift until about 6000rpms. By this time, I was coming up on him fast, when it shifted into second, I could feel the "Kick" into second, and didn't lose anytime at all shifting. The tires chirped and I could feel the torque put me back in my seat. I'm thinking to myself, man this feels good! By this time I was by his exhaust, and pulling on him bad. He was shifting into third cuz I could here his exhaust as I was coming up. He must have lost a split second shifting, because I was still winding in second. When I shifted into third, it was all over. He couldn't over come the torque of my truck, and after I got about three trucks on him, he started slowing down. I couldn't believe how much better my truck felt with the tune. I love it! It was a great night. I came home feeling satisfied, and glad that I got it out of my system.

I have the same problem. The only time I ever get people wanting to race is when I'm driving me STOCK Focus.Just because it's a Saleen people think it's fast.I've been picked on by everyone from riced out Honda's and even a Scion to V8 Shos'.Of course as soon as I hop in the truck and cruise around I rarely have any takers.

Usually the races find me, but I'm always looking. A shiny black Lightning is just asking for a race! Most of the time they tend to jump the gun before I know it's a race. Just the other day a Poniac GTP had a good run. I assume he had some mods as he had a couple gauges and he hung in decently-sort of.
Yesterday a white Blazer wanted to play. Had a cowl induction hood. Didn't think anything of it until I heard it and saw the LT1 badge on the back. Unfortuneatly traffic denied this one..

Good kill. Nobody want to race me. Sometimes a honda or whatnot will try but I launch so hard they roll off and act like they weren't trying
I try to keep my racing to the track but you know sometimes I just feel like being an ***.

now with no motor. J/k I just had to say it.
