Default 3 way race... some people just dont kno when to shut up

ok so me and some friends are eatin at chapps cafe and one has a jetta (5spd) and the other has an 83 c10 with a 4" lift, 36" mud swampers, built 350, longtubes, dual flows, ported and polished heads, cam (lift..?), 700r4, and oil leak...haha...well they keep talkin abt how my truck is too big to beat anything and its an ext. cab and all that crap that goes with it so i say lets get on i-35 and try it like that. so we get onto 35 and we slow down to abt 20, yes everyone and their mama was honking at us, so we took off and my wheels broke lose and the c10 was in front cuz of 4hi but i pulled the jetaa bad, then played with the c10, waited till abt 60 and laid all the way into it and pulled em bad. i do have one problem my fuel gauge is actin funny when i step on the gas it shoots all the way to right and then all the way back to empty then kinda jumps around and repeats. can yall help me out with what that might be

how many miles on your truck? if its a high milage truck you might as well just replace teh whole fuel pump IMO. it might actuall be cheaper. thats what i did on my 2000 silvy..ive never swaped out the sending unit only.

Sweet race...not smart stopping in the middle of the highway but to each his own. I dont know if you have posi or what gears but look into that if you are breaking loose at 20 with 305 whp. Once again, Nice wins.
