I made a video of the speedometer of my 2010 CREWCAB with 3.55 gears of how the tranny works when leaving it in drive and manual shifting. When i manual shift from 2-3 you can see what they call 2nd gear prime which is like a 2nd gear overdrive. This is a 5 speed tranny too not the 6 speed.


look at the rpm on the 2-3 gear shift when in DRIVE and look at it when i manual shift, you can actually hear it too

I always thought you cound go from 1st then double tap it fast. When it says 3rd your really in 2nd but the rpms dont drop down as much. I didnt know you had to leave it in 2nd that long

Kelsey, yes. I have tuned several around jboro! Even an ls6 swapped rx7 a few years back.
