I've been away from the forum for a little while since I just moved out to SoCal. One thing I noticed out here right away is all the high-dollar rides and modded cars. I mean if you drive an Accord out here it's at least got to have rims on it. I find myself running across all kinds of stuff to race that would be rare in Texas so it's been pretty cool so far. Anyway I'm cruising down the freeway and see a C5 vette getting on it a little. It's pretty loud so I know he's got exhaust. Despite the traffic we find a small opening and I get the jump on him at about 75. This is a pretty good roll for me in 3rd and I was actually able to make a race out of it for a little while but after 95 he had almost a half car and was pulling steady. So I got out of it before I got embarrassed.

I decided that I needed a little more punishment when I saw a late-model 911 zipping through traffic. I don't know much about Porsches but I know it was turboed by the sound. Traffic was even heavier by this point and once I provoked him, he started toying with me getting in and out of it. We lined up for a very small burst but ran out of room quick. He definitely pulled me some but not as much as he expected no doubt. Not really a race but I did get a chance to see him get into it good when we parted ways and no doubt I would have got spanked like a red-headed step child.

I thought for once it would be a good idea to post up about some losses instead of trying to sound like a bad *** all the time. It's clear in this new locale I'm going to get many chances to get handed my *** by all kinds of cool cars. I'll keep you guys posted, there are quite a few SRT-10 Rams running around here.... hmmmm.

 

Its Ok to loose a few, I wont even line up with anyone since I pulled the nitrous off of the truck. I guess its back to pickin on stock imports for a few weeks until the swap
