Me too, it seems to make sense. But then again, something that seems right always isn't truly right.

I've never had a peep of trouble out of this rear end. I had a guy in St. Louis set up the AAM 4.10 gears and truetrac and never had a lick of problem aside from twisting a moser axle. But now I feel like I may have messed up a good thing by changing yoke and screwing with the pinion preload. I'm this close to putting in a Ford 9" and having the piece of mind of a bulletproof trans, driveshaft, and rear end. I can't imaging the 10 bolt can take much more than I'm throwing at it and still be reliable.

Well, the turbo days are over (for now). Put a stock passenger manifold and Y pipe on. Ordered 3" mbrp catback. Gonna fix the rear end and daily this old bastard till I man up and order the C7 I've been drooling over.

I will be back with another truck build, except this time full on race. No exhaust, a/c, nothing of that sort. I know the recipe to go fast. So I'll be keeping my eye out for a reg cab roller in the future.

Thought I'd throw this up there, the only good track video I have. Same night la canalla went 7s. Crazy to think I went from low 11s to low 10s. That's a hell of an improvement.

Very sad, cheers to all the years of you getting it done though. Anxious to see what you have planned next.

Be prepared to be totally bummed when you drive the truck now. I know I was when I went from the turbo to na.

Got it done with no experience. Build the whole truck in my garage on my back. Tuned myself and never once damaged stock motor. Drove to and from track. Idled out in the grass at RPR truck shootout for 3 hours and clicked off 11.1 immediately. Multiple 10 sec passes. Couldn't have done it without the help of the forum members and knowledge here.

Man I need to learn how to tune. That is a great accomplishment, sorry to see it go.
