That's awesome, I had tried to put the 450 in a non-flex fuel bucket and it wouldn't work since the venturi/pump fill is different with that one but I do have a Flex Fuel pump in there now and my 450 still so I think I'll do it the same way you did. I assume there was not enough room to just run 1 long fuel hose up then back down? Likely too tight of a bend, just thinking that would save several clamps.

What size fuel line and 180deg hose barbs did you get?

Yes, I was worried about the fuel line getting pinched by using one long hose. Thats why I used the stainless barbed fittings.

What about it lol? The plastic nipple on the fuel bucket lid isn't exactly 5/16. I bought some 5/16 submersible fuel line but it was too big for the nipple. Thats why I ended up using the fuel line that came with the walbro(Not the best idea, but it will work for now, until it rots haha). Its just fit more snug. The rest of the fuel line is 3/8(I believe?) submersible Gates brand fuel line.

@TAPyvehc93 How about a long term update? has the 450 worked out well the way you hooked it up with the U bends and stock filter/venturi/regulator thing? These last pics should be a sticky, there are a ton of people asking about getting the 450 in a PWM returnless application on here. They way you did it really looks clean.

The truck seem to run fine while I had that setup but I no longer run that setup anymore though. I still run the walbro 450 but the fuel system was later converted to a return style system. I didn't really like having two u-bends in the tank and the way I had the hose connected to the the bottom of the fuel bucket hat was a little sketchy in my own opinion, but it did work.

Bump. Im about to install the 450 into my 2009. It seems like the pump is a great upgrade and works but there are some installation differences between those who have done it.

I like the idea of keeping the basket as stock as possible with all the functions built into it.
