Ok... my truck went over to Wilwood yesterday for some new brakes...

The guys over at Wilwood are extremely knowledgeable and very detail oriented... Big thanks to Tarrant who is cool as **** and had me laughing all day...
Truckin' came out to article the install... the pictures below were taken by them...

16" rotors - 6 piston caliper front setup - braided stainless lines

14.25" rotors - 4 piston caliper rear setup - braided stainless line

Wilwood must be 80K+ sq ft, the install took place in the R&D dept...

Front kit

Rear Kit
They now coat the entire rotors in a special black coating... when you burn in the rotors, the brake surface cleans off, and the rest stays behind to protect the metal

Front

Spinning the wheel for a cool effect (wheels looks a little like Plexiglas wheels lol)

Teaser pic - Tony was burning in the breaks

This is the after pic - burned in... notice the brake surface is smooth, and the rest is black

It's an absolutely gorgeous color. I love blue. I knew it wasn't the stock marine metallic or whatever it is.

Awesome. You are certainly doing it right.

Sorry if you already answered this elsewhere, but how much do your wheels weigh?
