Thats exactly how i got my start... If I can give you any advice? Know exactly how far you want to go - make a wish list, post it to a wall, and follow it - I spent a lot of money on stuff i later changed... do it right the first time - you will save time and money!!!

One thing I have noticed when you don't have the money to order what you want right now, it is very easy to change your mind. That is why my project is coming so slow, I bought a Camaro instead of the parts I want for my truck. I do plan on spending plenty of money to do get to where I want it, I know this isn't a cheap hobby as I am sure you all know that very well.
