just found a flaw dave your valve covers hit the fire wall under torque

 

i've always wanted to go to SEMA......maybe one day, when my vision is done, i can bring both trucks

 

NOPE, correction, the firewall had to be pounded out to fit these covers, everyone who has them has had to do the same thing as the passenger side heads are staggered back.
Design flaw.

But under torque they dont hit... that area of the firewall is not a solid blue, more of a misting, and when i poinded it out it left that scape and to match that would have been tough just a couple weeks before the show... so yes there is a flaw.

I can point out a few flaws that's for sure... but for what it is, a truck, I think it came out fine... The guys trailer I used this week has a 300k '57 chevy, his paint alone was 80k, if i spent 80k, my firewall would have been painted lol.

No I'm not going to be there this year. I have just been following your build and was wanting to know if you made it. With the last minute details of getting your truck there I was just asking. Good to hear you made it.I look forward to seeing some track times out of this monster! Vince
