Haha the ol' lady probably won't like that too much considering we have a wedding to finish paying for by May. The idea of twins sounded awesome to me when I first started this thing, but then I got to thinking about double the cost for everything and realized I wanted to actually get them on the truck in the next 3 years

Update on my truck. I traded my big single Turbo kit for a set of twins two years ago, then I promptly blew the transmission carrier bearing so it sat unloved for a year and a half or so.
For some reason a few months ago something lit a fire under my *** and so I pulled the tranny, got it fixed and she's now back on the road.

While she was sitting I got some new wheels and tires,

Centerline's, got them widened and powder-coated gloss black:

Not that wider tires will solve my traction problems, but I also picked up some Michelin PSS 345's along the way:

Couple years ago a friend was racing it in Arizona and went "Dukes of Hazard" with my truck and the hood popped up while doing +1xx mph and it swung back and cracked the windshield, bend the hood and hinges and put him in a ditch backwards I believe. I wasn't there but it was kinda my fault because I did remove the hood latch prior to my leaving the truck with him.
(Who knew bungee chords don't work at +1xx mph Sorry Jake)

Anyways, she now has a HD hood to go with the HD front end so at least that matches now. However it's beige and doesn't match the rest of the truck so it's kinda funky looking now.

So I'm just tooling around with it right now, trying not to get into too much trouble. Next month the truck is getting new front coil-over suspension with A-frame shock towers and relocated upper ball-joint. I plan on eventually making this truck into a road racing truck.

As she sits now...

Electrical tape holding up the bumper was from going in the ditch backwards, it's been fixed since this picture.

What size are the front tires? Do the diameters match?

Fronts are 285. I don't think I can fit too much wider up there without rubbing but I'll know more after the front suspension is re-worked. I'm planning on dropping this truck another inch at least for track work.
Both front and back are same OD.

I'm really curious to see what kind of traction you will have with those. From what I hear they are pretty much the ultimate street tire. I wonder how far off they are from 20" drag radial traction wise.

I turned the power way down when I got it back on the road 3-4 weeks ago. And although the tires are great and the traction is better compared to the last tires I had, it's still a hopeless endeavor anything below 60mph.
I'm only at 10psi on a fuel only tune and I can do a rolling burnout for the better part of a quarter mile despite these tires.
