Love seeing old builds getting revived. What model transmission came in the stick shift blazers? What are you doing about the trans with the LS swap?

NV3500. Keeping the trans, using a 4.8 flywheel, 4.8 pilot, 4.8 clutch and pressure plate (upgraded, we’ll see about that) 4.3 nv3500 throwout.

did the blazers also have the close-ratio 1st & 2nd gears like the S10s?

So I repainted the firewall.

So the steering shaft clears.

The aluminum block 5.3 raised me up about an inch
