im assuming you mean the typical BCM under the dash...I dont remember the pump going nuts before I disconnected the battery....any idea what would cause this?

No, the EBCM is the Electronic Brake Control Module. It's mounted to the frame, where you hear the noise coming from. It's a very common failure, and most likely that's why it was not plugged in when you bought the truck. Check this out. ABSFIXER.COM / ABS EBCM Repair

ah, would that also explain the battery being drained?
I just checked my battery, last night when I hooked it up it was 12.4, few hours later it was 12.5, and now its 12.9

Yup bad ebcm, I personally haven't had alot of luck with the acdelco approved place lol
But if youll look up auto parts on craigslist I'm pretty sure there is a local company that does repairs

Thanks. Goals this week are to get the trans back and install the meth kit ive had sitting in a box for a year. Also hook up the boost controller if I get to it. This will be the first time ive really worked on the truck since November of last year.
