im assuming you mean the typical BCM under the dash...I dont remember the pump going nuts before I disconnected the battery....any idea what would cause this?

No, the EBCM is the Electronic Brake Control Module. It's mounted to the frame, where you hear the noise coming from. It's a very common failure, and most likely that's why it was not plugged in when you bought the truck. Check this out. ABSFIXER.COM / ABS EBCM Repair

ah, would that also explain the battery being drained?

I just checked my battery, last night when I hooked it up it was 12.4, few hours later it was 12.5, and now its 12.9 hmm....

Yup bad ebcm, I personally haven't had alot of luck with the acdelco approved place lol
But if youll look up auto parts on craigslist I'm pretty sure there is a local company that does repairs

I bought a eboost street boost controller to play with yesterday, pretty excited about it. Now to just get that trans back...

Thanks. Goals this week are to get the trans back and install the meth kit ive had sitting in a box for a year. Also hook up the boost controller if I get to it. This will be the first time ive really worked on the truck since November of last year.
