Well attempt number one didn't work out well today...

That cold front blew in and started raining on me just as I was pulling the hood off. Almost bent the frame on my truck too... Long story.

So I know the owner of 105 auto recycling in Vidor, and he's gonna come let me use his lift and basically have free run of his shop for however long I need it. He's got a car on it stripping it right now but early tomorrow he's gonna let me know when I can come get started.

So first thing in the am I'm gonna load both of my big toolboxes and put my bike on a trailer so I have a way home if the truck stays overnight, which I'm sure will happen, at least once this is just my run of luck here lately.. If it rains and I've got to be on the bike, then so be it I suppose...

atleast you got a place out of the rain to work on the truck. a couple days riding the bike in the rain should make you want to hurry up and get the truck done. good luck, looking forward seeing some pics.

Got about 75% in today...

Headers and ORY out, log and driver manifold in, X over in, DP in, turbo bolted up, oil feed all plumbed, cold side in, frame notched, intercooler mounted, chrage piping complete....

Tomorrow, all I have is the WG, BOV, injector swap, wiring, a couple vac/boost ref hoses, LC1 wiring, MAP/IAT install, oil return fitting.... And drop the new tune in and fire...

I'm gonna do an oil change and fresh TR6s and new wires, and fresh fuel filter while I'm at it... Those things just "should be" done when doing an install/conversion like this IMO...

It'll be two full days probably but I don't think that's bad considering the amount of work there is to be done and has already been done...

Make sure you unplug and cap the TB where the vent line from the valve cover goes to it. Looking good.

Oh and that you have an actual check valve type pcv and not just the orifice type.
