I've already sunk the money into this FLT 65E... And I must say I really have enjoyed this transmission since I put it in in March 07. It hasn't missed a beat yet...ill probably do a freshen up and different converter and run it till it goes... Whenever that is.

welcome. Send me some money too. my converter is out again, and probly trashed my whole trans for the summer. I dont have any times or anything like that, but i personally hate the feeling of the locked converter under boost. I dont know why. mine is set up to unlock at high speeds with pretty much any touch of the throttle. but, trap speed etc may be better the other way, i cant keep a trans behind mine long enough to know anything and ive been boosted for 4 months.....

Well from the results I've seen, locking the converter loads the turbo better for a little better trap speeds. I'm going to have to experiment and it will be a trial and error kinda thing. Who knows at this point... I could be totally off.

I mean at around 70. You have full boost locked as soon as you touch the pedal. I dont know if there is any advantage for load after your at full boost. Seems there wouldnt be any.

True... Like I said... It will be a trial an error thing at the track... I'm looking for a high 11 out if it. I think that will be pretty easily attainable.
