12s on motor? dont think most cammed 5.3s come close. is it added compression or the fuel/intake setup thats helping lol im interested.

 

5.3s in the 12s na is the in thing down here we have several lol.....the record is 11.97 na held by a friend that was built also by Spike we raced and i beat him by like a truck and a half in the street so that made up for not getting his record lmao....Mods where as follows when we ran na it has forged rods & pistons tfs 215 heads 11.9 static compression, pacesetter Rings gapped for a big shot of dope intake we used a 102 fast , cam was a 236/236 i belive with a 605/605 at 109+3 lsa not sure on the lsa, stock polished crank, yella terras, sodium fiilled valvesand, custom speced tci stall 2800 that flashed to like 4600 and launching of the trans break, bilet trany with the 7pinion plenetantry or what ever it is called, and 4.56s, as far as suspension we have cal tracks and some drop shocks here is a vid of that run ran 12.0 back to back to back...alot of 5.3s run in the high 12s down here with out heads or a very extream set up but there is a like 5 in the low 12s one or two that have potential to break the 11s
