I actually bought it from the used side of a local Chevy dealership. Was only listed for a day When I purchased it. 1 owner dealer serviced. Not Perfect but I fixed a few of those things right after I bought it.

Surprisingly it is the same local dealer I get my parts from. Found it online through Car Guru's. I keep looking but the only LBZ's I have found close in condition have been way Over priced....
I can do a complete LBZ drivetrain swap on this truck for the price difference. The only real difference in the trucks besides the engine/trans would be the power seats, the cluster and the shifter. Other wise its basically the same truck....

One of my old co workers has an LBZ with more mileage than mine. If he sells it or wants to trade, I may pick it up and fix it up. I would have to remove the stupid lift though... It's tried to kill him 3 times now...

 

@shakenfake I have some bad News... I couldn't find the can right now. but my 95% is closer to 99% if I can find it. But that is the same color as my interior and No you can not have my OEM Floor mats...

 

@shakenfake How is this? No cleaning, no prep. Just went over what was there. I even messed up by not being patient. But I was so excited I couldn't wait to show off... It's very trans parent and took 5-6 coats... It's still wet in the Photo. You really need to do it lightly and wait between coats for best results. Other wise it will wrinkle and lift at the edges of the thinnest spots. I will fix it later... SEM 17163 is med drk pewter which is the lighter medium grey 992 or 92I

Also if this is medium dark grey will the tan floor mats be the wrong color? Maybe I need the grey ones? We'll see I think the driver side comes in tomorrow.

 

I recommend you take the top cap off to do it. Get a bucket of warm soapy water, Use a dish soap and medium to fine scotch brite pad. Remove any peeling or loose paint. The scotch brite should do it but you might need fine sand paper to feather it. Don' t try to remove the texture. Just let take the paint edge to the top of the texture. Go over the bad spots first with a light coat. It's very transparent so don't keep re applying it wet... Let it sit and dry between coats. If it starts to lift the paint just let it dry. You can go back and knock it down again after it dries. Do the black spots first and then feather out with the later coats.

The Key is light coats and patience. I can not stress that enough. It's very transparent, expect that it will take several coats and let it dry between coats. Don't try to burry it to cover it.

 

Oh, 1 more thing. If you plan on doing any real towing off the back hitch, Replace the factory hitch....

 

Don’t end up like this guy with a bent frame. Extreme situation but a stock hitch none the less.

it was worth getting real OEM Denali lights (technically mine were from a C3) - and don't let nobody tell you they can't be cleared. them losers just didn't want it bad enough
