@silentbravo Yeah really. Wild to mild colors.

@_zebra I didn’t think so either but it has to be what’s catching

PCV has been fixed. Installed the PPE fittings so hopefully no more oil going into my turbo or leaking on my floor.

I did notice that my airbox is not being held down by anything at all. Looking at a WCFab intake replacement.
I think my lower oil pan leak has gotten worse, one drop actually hit the ground the other day, so eventually I will do an oil pan gasket and PPE pan.

Now that this is complete though it is time to sink some time and money into doing the AC on my Impala and Silverado.

The other night I got a C0040 code for right front speed sensor. Cleared it and it has not come back. With my scan tool the sensor looks like it is working. I will double check the ground under the driver door. I cleaned it once about a year ago now.

got a similar code on my car after replacing a rear half shaft a few years back. sometimes, it's just the contacts in the old crusty connectors that didn't like getting unplugged.

Could have rust under it. Or the play in the bearings could be getting excessive.

I have a warped rotor somewhere, I think it is up front, and I need to get that resolved before it does actually damage a bearing. Maybe next month

RockAuto and the ACDelco catalogue give me two options 18A926 and 19A928. Which one is correct? Per the specs the 928 has a 4.63" center hole, 330mm diameter, and 86.86mm overall height. The 926 has a 4.84" center hole, 330.4mm diameter and a 90mm overall height. Which one should I be purchasing?

Just a general question, but I wonder if hub bearing wear could also cause excessive shake when braking?

... asking for a friend...🤔

Should I do it? The scratches look not so hot. He says they would buff out but I am not so certain about that. Worst comes to worst I can just repaint it.

@dantheman1540 said I should and usually he does not lead me astray

Just do it! You can prob sell your Regular hood for half the cost of repainting that one
