Default rebuilding my smacked up burban for a family ride

picked up an 01 suburban hit hard in the nose have everything but a frame and bumper , dont know if i want to use hd bumperand grille with z71 valance or just stock stuff here is a pic . i can find 2500 frames cheap but i was wondering how much heavier its gonna make ...any input would be cool thanks

Alright I got hood ,fenders ,and rad support from a 01 silverado for $250 thinking about doing a hd grille chrome bumper and z71 fog lights or an 06 front end what do you guys think?

06 truck front end would be different don't know how all the lines would match up though

got the paperwork its actually an 03 and after I made sure there wasn't any shorted out wires I put power to it, it only has 66,864 miles on it going to check pricing on the 06 front end tomorrow

how does the frame look, looks like the tires are pushed back a lil but it ould just be the pic angle

Frame is bad, pushed back and up and steering column blasted up out of the dash

The body lines will match up for an 06 front end no problem. But That got stuffed pretty hard... I Hope you didn't pay much for it... Pull the carpet back in the front and check for buckling in the floor... I bet there is a lot more damage then you think... mine was hit in the front left wheel dead on t- boned. No Visible Damage to the Main body structure. Untill I pulled the frame/engine/trans out, I wasn't able to see any floor buckling. When I did see the signs I pulled the carpet back and was like Oh crap... Luckly for me It was just another set back and not any added cost since I Did all the work.

I traded a gutted blazer and the back end of a tahoe that was just worth scrap wieght and $600 engine trans and transfer case is worth that especially with only 66,000 on it I want to get my hands on a frame and yeah I'm saving by doing all the work myself

You'd have to change the frame ends for an 06 clip but other than that its bolt on.
