I mean mines been awesome, I got axles, arp studs, diff support cover, and a true-trooper center so there's not much else I can do but hope lol.
Just bought some heads. I will post some pics when I get them, but pretty simple. Their pulls off from a crate ordered Motor, never ran 317's. I'll be swapping my dual comp springs and trunion upgraded rocker arms pending inspection of course.
Once it warms up some "Bad Reputation" will be back at work on the water.

Off the top of my head, the easy direct bolt in donors would be:
04-06 VHO trucks
05+ 2wd SSS trucks
06-07 GMT800 Vmax trucks 2wd and 4wd
07-09 GMT900 Vmax trucks 2wd and 4wd
09+ 6.2 equipped trucks both NHT and Denalis
GMT900 SUVs equipped with the 6.2 like Denalis and Escalades(will require welding spring perches on)
Thats to the best of my memory so it could be off slighty or forgot one of the models but that ought to get your started.
Depending on theyear and vehicle will depend on the gear ratio, anything from 3.42 to 4.10 were available from the factory and I believe all of them came with the G86. Look for that RPO code in the glove box if its still in vehicle to tell if its got the factory locker which is much stronger than the G80.
There is the option of running older 14 bolts but few were available with 6 lugs so theyll require some modification to work correctly. If memory serves me right youll need a new driveshaft or atleast a conversion ujoint at the minimum for any of the 14 bolts.
Best of luck to you, Im interested to see what you can do. Hurry up so you dont disappoint the ladies

New 317's came in, even have the OEM Acdelco/ngk spark plugs. Any body need a set lol? See if I can make some power on the OEM stuff again!
Also picked up a oil pan as mine was cracked by the angry rod. This pan was nastyyyyy, but couple cans of carb cleaner and a roll of shop tows later I think it's pretty close. Outside of pan still looks kinds dirty though even though it's clean. Any ways to paint this bad boy black and have it stay looking good?

I sandblasted all my aluminum covers and they looked brand new. Not painting all of them black when I had it disassembled is something that I regret. I say paint it and see how it looks.
