That turbo already did 919! If you had a pass on that you definitely would have a 9 second slip.

I agree, prolly to the tune of 9.8s or so at 138-140.. And that was my 3rd street pull, it would have made one pass lol...Ahh well.. We have to move forward my friend.

Can someone point me in the right direction with a 12 bolt. Would a 03 04 05 06 Cadillac escalade rear be a direct swap? It has 3.73 gears and gt4 option which I guess the posi. Is the 12 bolt posi a solid unit over the g80? I noticed 900Hp does 90-100mph burnouts with slicks lol

Should be good for sure. ??? though, how are you getting that compression ratio when a stock lq4 piston is like 6.5 cc dish and a 72cc head??

What kind of timeline are you looking at for the build?

For compression I was going off this post. However I also read 9.6 some where else, may have to double check. I'd like to run ls9 gaskets.

LS1TECH - View Single Post - TMS Diamond piston FREE H-beam ROD UPGRADE group purchase 346ci Iron LS1 $1799

As for time line, for the sake of taking out single ladies and taking the boat out I'd like to have this rig up within 4 weeks.

Hmmm interesting. I am taking it the ls9 gasket is thicker or the gasket they are using is thicker then stock?

Funny you posted that link I was just on the bay looking for some connecting rods, see they have a assembled short end 6.0(frgd rods, W pistons, stock polished crank, but asking 4300 for it shipped.

I thought that all AWD trucks and SUV's came with the 10 bolt... I wasn't aware they were a 12. I know the Vmax comes with a 12 bolt, and the 2wd is a 3.73 while the 4wd is a 4.10.
