Anybody ever had a trans that refused to separate from the engine? I've done everything short of hitting the dowel pins with a torch... PB blaster is quite flammable. Haven't had much of a problem with rust til now. Even lifting the trans up and dropping it repeatedly does nothing to break the pins loose. Its on there pretty good...suggestions?

Seriously though, Are you sure you got every bolt???
I am not afraid to admit that I have missed a bolt while tring to remove transmissions from various vehicals.

Basically, it's just corrosion making the bellhousing stick hard to the alignment dowels. Shoot some penetrating oil on the dowels, and walk away from it for a while. Then come back and give it hell. You may need a second person to get a prybar between the engine & bellhousing while you shake the tailhousing all around, but it will come apart.

ya but corrosion that bad In AZ??? In AK I would believe it. Same with back east. I have seen some pictures of cars from the rust belt area and it's no wonder any thing survives in those areas.
