Default RCSB build

Spent about a month preparing and gathering parts, its time to start working on it now. I sold the extended cab and bought a 2004 Sierra 4x4. Pretty healthy list of parts waiting to get installed...forged 6.0, built 80e, rebuilt NP246, true trac, Circle D 1A, S480 on a KB Racing turbo kit, Alky Control meth injection kit, NX wet kit, full return style fuel conversion with dual walbro 255s, efans, 08 engine harness, and plenty of other gadgets and gauges to make it all play nicely together. I never take enough pictures, but I'll try to document as much of it as possible. Pulled the transfer case today to get it ready for the 80e conversion, and I'm still in the middle of sorting out all the finer details of the harness swap. Hopefully I don't find any unexpected snags with that!

Couple pics..

Right after I picked it up in Ohio. Managed to get it back right before the great plains got hit with that nasty blizzard

Half of a one-car garage consumed by parts. Still a bunch of junk in the house too

Tomorrow I'll begin the fuel system, true trac install and/or the trans and engine pull. Holiday stuff sort of slows me down for the weekend, but soon as things quiet down, this project will be getting 100% of my attention

Plan is to run a piggyback system leaving the BCM alone. The old PCM will just run as a slave computer for basic functions and the E38 will handle all the drivetrain functions. Simplest way to do it, imo.

After digging through the diagrams more, it turns out I can't pull a fuel pressure signal from the sensor directly without the fuel pressure control module. The sensor cannot interface directly with the ECM. I think I may just snag one of the lingenfelter converter boxes and try that.

Can you not snag a FPCM from a new truck? I know nothing about these newer truck fuel systems.

I might be able to. I've been looking. If I can find one and a connector/pigtail for it, I may be able to get it to work. We'll see here in the next few days. I have a huge excel sheet with all of the information for re-routing wires and splicing stuff already. Would be a shame for all of that work to be a waste
