So she is up and running!! i dropped it down off the jackstands and took it for a little spin. gotta say the converter is perfect. it will roll a little at idle and takes about 1500 rpm or so to really start moving. the exhaust sounds great running through the cats, cut the rasp down a lot. i stopped and got gas around the corner, my buddy was saying its good to see it off the stands and back on the road but why did i make it quieter.... flip the switches and open the cutouts up and told him id give him and the half dozen others a show when i left. HOLY F*CK is it loud!! of course it just blows the tires off but damn it pounds like a healthy big block. i had to go around town terrorizing friends and family with a nice rolling patch out front hahahaha. definately put a smile on my face.

talked to my buddy who will be doing the tuning on it last night so there are a couple things to get in order. he wants me to run 100% meth. he just finished up a c6 Z with a 101mm turbo that ran 8.5 at 165 on LOW boost so i think its in good hands

Nice work on the exhaust. I did mine the same way with individual bends in the garage on my back. Did you continue the exhaust over the axle and out, or just leave it like in the pic?

i like doing the individual bends but i think next time i do it with this tight radius stuff im going to order some 90 deg bends. some of the tubes were really not round once sectioned and it makes it a pita. i cant complain much though because these were b stock bends so that may be the reason they were b stock. exhaust ends just as you see it there. it will eventually come out in front of the tire. im not a big fan of out the back haha

got the truck tuned tonight and damn its going to be fun!! its making 13# and it pulls hard as hell. anything below 45 absolutely blows the tires off but even 60 on the highway it spins some before hooking and going. going to try to hit the track in the morning but traction will be a major issue. my buddy who tuned it was also impressed with it and he has done some pretty wild setups.

Glad to hear this build has turned out well! Nothing like smoking tires after you have all ready got rolling down the road!

Cant wait to see some videos of this in action!
