Well I couldnt pass it up, so me and my wife grabbed it up.


its a 85 silverado suburban, 3.42 gears, 305 v8, carb, 4speed 700, body is clean cept for dent in the rear barn doors, no rust at all.



only dent I can find, but truck needs a good paint


Im thinking about selling this entire project for someone who has the time to complete it. I have a 400 small block bored .040 with Air Flow Research heads on it rated at 425hp/460lb, fresh with 0 miles and paperwork.

Im still trying to decide, cause this thing will be badass on 8"lift and some 40s. What do you guys think?

 

Another option would be to do a carb 5.3 liter engine I have as well... (donor black truck)

I took the steering wheel off today, and still cant get to the ignition switch to replace it, so its time to drill it out.
