That's a 4 spline pitman isn't it? So if you move the pitman 90 degrees , basically clocking it over to where the splines line up again it should be 90 degrees?
You do need to check and see if the box is in it's centered position though.
So I replaced the inner and outer tie rods on both sides. Plus I put in new upper control arms. It's going in tomorrow to the shop for alignment - so I'm hoping the steering is tighter.
I need some winter tires cause it's snowy outside.
And I scored a used hot water pressure washer - too bad it's too cold outside to use it. Can't wait for summer.
Steering is way tighter after replacing those parts and the alignment has fixed the cocked steering wheel which is nice.
I'm not sure of the direction for this project - I think this truck will stop being my daily driver if I can find another truck. Then I can work on it when I want.
Right now I'm trying to sort some trouble lights and other small issues. I'm going to post the PCM / trouble light issues in another post on this site. I've got HPtuners MPVI3 coming and can't wait to get into another hobby tuning my truck. lol
Also the cab is noisy as hell on the highway - like ridiculous so i'm going to try and solve that next.
