I see you have already looked into all the info on the 80. Just wanted to point it out incase you didn't take it into consideration. Good luck with the mods.

You should look into swapping a 4l60e in....you'll go faster

I wouldn't mind making the trip and lending a hand/standing around if ya'll need some help. Glad you found a crossmember...

I have already had my 80 built and I am planning on building a 408 stroker next winter. The 60 won't help when I blow it to pieces.

It was just a joke...but it illustrates the reason why I'm going with the 80.

Also, your truck doesn't seem to be slowed down much by the 80e. 14.2 @ 4250lbs with a bone stock lq4?

I've never felt the 80e was as big of a power eater as most make it out to be

a buddy of mine has an 80e in his truck and with a good stall you shouldnt notice much difference. i prolly should swap an 80e in mine
