well, not sure what to do now.....apparently the mufflers I ordered are no longer made....just think if I didn't send an email checking on my order, lol. I'll figure something out

the gods are frowning on me!

If it were me, I would modify the X pipe you currently have to increase the internal volume and keep the same mufflers. I wish I had the pics of a set up I did. I can get them but it won't be until the end of the week.

I would cut these sections out with a zip disk in a die grinder and mitre some stainless pipe to fill in the area. You would be left with a box equal to at least dual 3" pipes.

hmm, I thought the whole design of this unit was we got a full dual 3" pipe internal volume? it's been a while so the details are foggy.

My only real issue with only running the two mufflers was/is how loud it is WOT

there was an internal X on the muffler I can't(didn't) use, different design than the tru-x, and in that case yes it would have been a restriction. Sent that muffler back a few purchases ago
