Project 67
#1
Here is a project I have been working on for a customer. It is a 67 short fleet big window cab, 5.3l and 4l60e, Dart Pro1 heads, harland sharp roller rockers, Weiand intake, March corvette pulley system modded to fit this 5.3, Lunati cam, comp cams push rods, trans built by Turbo Todd Moyer at TRM diesel and auto. 12 bolt posi built by Pyle Brothers, custom Drive shaft built by Jonathan at All American Enterprises, full air ride, custom fuel tank and the list goes on. Trying to finish up the wiring right now and install the interior. Hope my pics post!

Thank you. It has been fun. Not very often the customer walks in to your shop and let's you purchase the truck and plan the build from scratch the way I wanted to do it. It has been fun. We have a 66 Chevelle in the wings for the same customer too.

Thanks for all of the compliments guys! Fighting the wiring right now for the 5.3L and 4l60e swap right now. Trying to locate everything nice and hidden and sort through the mess of wires to make it look really clean. The object was to make the motor look like it was floating there in the engine compartment. We will see what we can do with it. We changed to the Weiand Intake for looks more than anything. Put bigger injectors in it today with the LS1 pigtails since it had truck pigtails and injectors. All Aeromotive fuel system, trying to figure where to mount the regulator hidden out of the way too. Air ride valves all hidden, lines plumbed in the frame, tanks tucked up under the cab all the way now. Have to notch the front inner fenders and fabricate some wheel wells too. Lots to go, I will keep you guys updated.

Thanks I appreciate the comments good or bad!
Okay,
Today I got the wiring all sorted out finally. I will post some before and after pictures of the wiring that we paid to have done and what it looks like now.
May I suggest, if you do not do the wiring yourself and you are paying to have it modified, you are better off spending the additional money to have one from companies like Painless or S&P or some of the other vendors that I have found that make them from scratch. What my customer paid to have it modified and what he will have to pay me to clean it up and re-route everything, cut and repair wires, he would have been better off buying a harness made for him. Pictures updated tomorrow.
