ran a ton more wires inside and out today. everything inside should just drop in now as its all pretty much done. exhaust will come as soon as its running. got all my fluids in and hoses done. literally everythings hooked up, tried to start it - no such luck tonight. something isnt getting power or is hooked up wrong. tomorrow i begin diagnostics should only be a splice or two to get this thing running. i even have the rear driveshaft in so i could literally drive it away at this point. the hood gets here on monday and i just got insurance on it so i should definitely be able to make it to the cape for the allwheels show.

boosted how much hp are you making and do you have track times

so it started with two splices - i had to bypass the old alarm it was killing the starter and i switched the wire the fuel pump relay was hooked to. the engine is running great and sounds amazing in person!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_scmhcjboAY

BUT i tried to drive it and there is something seriously wrong with the transmission.

in D the engine winds up to almost max rpm and then the truck lurches forwards like someone is on the brakes which i checked and seem to be working. you have to floor it and then it will crawl along i got it to go up the street but it was struggling really bad the whole time. it could almost be a "limp" mode or something but it feels like hardware. in 1 the truck stalls if you try to give it gas it feels like the tranny is totally siezed. reverse kind of works but still has to ramp up to get anywhere. its basically acting like my friends old buick after 400 neutral drops. what could be causing this?! the tranny cooler gets hot so i know its pumping fluid to it. i added 11 quarts to the tranny and 1 to the TC and i was still able to turn the TC before i bolted it to the flywheel so i know its not binding or anything like that.

is it because the computer still thinks i have a 4l80e?

also i have beyond full gas tank, no reverse lights but getting very close very fast

arent you suppose to put 5-6 qts in the converter install it(you shoulda heard to thump like sounds so you know its right) then add fluid till you get to the middle of Add and full then let it warm up and top it off. i may be wrong lol.
