If possible can you give the part numbers for the stuff you got from S&P?

went to slowhawk this morning, dons a nice guy who was very patient and answered all my questions. he set me up with a tune that should have the thing running when i get it all together.

the wiring harness arrived. very high quality, looks like it uses a few less circuits than the stock one

tranny and converter are here, very serious components each.

so im pretty much set to go except for a ton of little things that i will have to chase down as i go.

where do i splice the converter unlock wire to?

so the frame/rockers on this thing had a good deal of surface rust. yesterday i tried my new undercoat gun.

shot through 2/3 of a gallon on just the wheelwells and sides of the frame. so i ordered 2 more gallons and im going to do everything. the stuff lays thick and looks pretty good.

tinkered with the engine, got the old harness entirely off, hooked up the water temp sender, mounted the ac and it does not fit with the engine mount relocation brackets. =(

so the power steering pump has a line cut off the back of it - i think its for hydroboost? can i plug this hole?

what are the ports right above the oil filter for?

slapped in the TC, gettin ready to mount the trans to the motor. there will be 2 bolt holes on the bellhousing unused, kind of makes me nervous. also there are only 3 bolts for the tc to flywheel, seems kind of weak to me.

meanwhile ive spent hundreds on tools and random parts... the tranny shift cable broke upon removal, also the cooler lines and park/neutral safety switch. $400 right there.

so i guess i just gotta keep on truckin =)

NOthing wrong with the bolts, 3 is normal on the TC and yes there are a couple unused holes on the bellhousing. The ports above the oil filter are for an external oil cooler. You need to get a blockoff plate from the dealer.
