so thats what the problem was, the converter was locking up during partial throttle causing a havoc . changed the settings to where it only locks up under WOT basically now the trans shifts normal! excited! one huge step closer to running it in two weeks!

I do not recommend locking it up at WOT, at least not all the time. Glad you got it figured out, I had a feeling that was your problem

thanks atomic for the help! I also want to thank chuck at FLT transmission for the great customer service , you guys have been awesome i would never think about buying a trans from anyone else , thank you! Also Circle D has been a breeze to work with with a very fast turn around couldn't be happier , i highly recommend these two company's based on my experiences so far 5 star for sure!

Locking up at wot is absolutely recommended for turbo truck, assuming you have appropriate converter and billet front shaft.

No worries man, you'll get it. I just like typing that in here every now and then.

I found significant gains at the track by locking converter at 100mph

Used to lock up around 105 back when I ran the 4l80. Took about 3 passes to learn that turbo trucks like that **** a lot more than procharged trucks.
