Same spot where I have my pan drilled too. Just go slow with the drill and use lots of grease.

ok made some progress over the weekend ... im thinking by next week end she will be ready to fire up!!

finished my bracket to support the turbo, thing is solid . when i pull on it the whole truck rocks but the pipes stay nice and secure lol...

also got the down pipe all tacked and ready for welding, and im currently working on the side exit tip for it...

well got the oil lines done,got the overflow coolant tank relocated and mounted with some custom brackets and the waste gate piping is tacked and ready for the tig. getting real close to fire up but with the high heat lately i havent been real motivated ... thanks blackgmc for sharing your coolant reservoir mod !

i know man i feel like a lazy a$$ , even my wife is like "why is your truck still broken ,whens it going to be done..." the temps up here this last week have been brutal so i went into hibernation on the couch .
