Not sure if this is the correct sub-forum for this, but I'm not really sure where else to put this. For anyone interested in something like this, I wanted to create a thread to show the NNBS center console/jump seat install into a NBS work truck interior.
Reasoning for the swap: My '05 Silverado LT (work truck) interior came with the center jump seat that did not fold down. I wanted a fold down center console/arm rest that still retained the jump seat.
The below is picture heavy. Hope this helps someone looking to do a similar swap.
Couple of pics of the truck this is being completed on for your time:
After calling and looking through numerous local junk yards without success - I found a 2008 Silverado center console at a truck salvage yard about an hour away. It was in rough shape to begin with:
Luckily, the bottom portion of the seat cover is easily removable on these things. After a few cycles in the washing machine, it cleaned up pretty nicely:
The rust on the seat frame was pretty significant. The top of the console unbolts easily and the bottom foam comes off pretty easily too (its glued to those two center rails). After removing all of that, I wire brushed it and put a coat of paint on.
The top portion cover was stained and ripped in the rear. I found a YouTube video that showed how to remove and recover it...so I bought a new cover, some contact cement, and a Harbor Freight staple gun and went to work. I turned out pretty decent and wasn't hard at all.
Youtube vid that shows how to recover the top part of the console:
Couple pics of the center console/jump seat cleaned up, painted, re-covered, assembled, and ready to go in:
"Before" pictures of the interior":
During the swap - all 3 seats have to come out, the driver and passenger seat are bolted down on top of the center console - which is what hold it in. You'll need a decent set of External-Torx sockets to get the seats out (and yes, I did fix that spaghetti mess of amp wiring that the previous owner had done while I was there lol).
Pics installed:
It didn't match the seats the greatest - so I got some cheapy black seat covers. It was a PITA to find some for seats with integrated seat belts.
Make another thread to tell us about that drag quad frame
Thanks! Haha, drag quads are my passion..specifically Honda TRX450R’s (tho most race Banshees). Pic of it assembled:

If possible - I’d highly recommend trying to find the ‘08+ console/jump seat. Feels a lot more solid than the OBS or NBS center consoles that I’ve used previously.

yeah, but i prefer use of the cupholders regardless of seat position... and a drink right there would probably be in my arm's way while shifting, too.
