What are OEM flex fuel vehicles using to combat moisture in the tank? Just normal charcoal canisters and EGR valves? I found this on accident and it makes sense

For routing the fuel line would it be better to use a Y block and feed into the rear of both rails or feed into one side and use the crossover line to connect the two up front? And if I feed into the rear of both rails would I still use the front crossover?

Either one is fine. I prefer feeding the back of one and crossover on the other end and regulator on the back of the second rail because it is much easier plumbing and less fittings. Using a Y block would work fine, just more fittings and more stuff. If you do that, you will need to use another Y on the other end to go to the regulator.

Then you could have a cross over in front if you Y in the back or plug the end of the 2nd rail if you feed the back of one.

I just didn't know if the front crossover with the back of both rails being fed would be to "noisy" and mess with the fuel pulse/pressure. Like if it was pushing against itself with the crossover vs being a dead head.

Meh, I doubt it. With large rails that's much less of an issue. The only person ive heard to ever have a problem like that is Rob.

What happened with Rob's build? (I dunno who Rob is)

My Whipple rails are for the hotrod kit so the driver's side doesn't feed into the side. Both rails are open ended and fit a -6 with o-ring. The inside of the rail looks a good bit larger than 3/8" so I dunno why they made it for a -6 fitting. I hope they aren't going to be a huge restriction for flow.

Vortec350sss or something I think. He was having a weird tuning issue right at a specific engine rpm. It was some sort of resonance with the pulses in the fuel rail and injectors or something strange. Using a longer feed line helped.

Ah gotcha. So the longer feed line dampened the pulses for him. I guess it's something like pipes in your home chattering from being installed incorrectly.

I do know that with the VaporWorks PWM fuel controller if the fuel pressure sensor is located too close to the fuel rail or if a short feed line is used then it can cause pulsing. They recommend to locate the pressure sensor as far from the rail as possible and to lengthen the feed line to act as a dampen system. I guess I could try the dual rear feed and front crossover and eliminate if I have issues and/or include a fuel pulse damper. I just wanted some input on if I was crazy and overthinking stuff again.
