the frame brackets have been in there for a while. had to order them from GM because the only set i could find was for a 2WD. of course, not two weeks later, i see a couple sets for sale on here & another forum
Neutral safety switch works in mine . Shift light is pointless. And i am the same way, I have the wiring neatly taped up into a little pack, but i am also switching to and automatic so im keeping the connectors.

funny thing about the clutch position sensor... it needs a jumper in the fuse block from F10 to F11 for the starter to get power.

so the updates have been scarce because the computer with the memory stick reader is in the shop, so i can't get the new pics off.

the basic rundown is that everything was back together a few days before halloween. we've spent since then trying to figure out why it won't start. narrowed it down to the PCM not firing the coils. i tried the PCM in my recruiter's truck today - same no-fire situation. i'm sending the computer back in the morning.

a little anti-climactic, but that's it for now

oh yeah... i forgot to update this!

truck's been running since right before thanksgiving. the fuse block jumper was needed because my 5.3 harness came from an automatic. once it was in there (took 5 minutes to swap it over from my 4.3 harness) starter wound right up. then i spent 4 days figuring out why none of my coil packs were firing - it was something in the computer (i'm guessing a bad flash) because i tried that PCM in my friend's 2000 5.3 & got the same problem. sent it back, got it a week later & it fired right up. now i just need to get a new intake tube (working on a deal for an AIRAID 912 tube) so i can fix this small vacuum leak from the junkyard intake tube missing a gasket at the TB (it's held on with a hose clamp for now)

I didnt have to do anything with mine, i have an auto harness, i just had to get the 2 wires for the reverse lights and use the reverse light connector from the v6 harness.

Good to hear its running.

so, after talking with MTI Racing & Tom Henry last weekend, they've helped push me over the boosted cliff i knew i shouldn't've drove them S/C'd Camaros!!

now that's got me thinking...
mp112 or tvs1900 - both are pretty comparable from what i'm reading & both are fine for a daily-driven 5.3 with 105k on the clock. right now, the thought would be 5-6psi, but i'm open to suggestions.

i'm really new to forced induction (because until now, i've been pretty opposed to going that far), so please offer your comments & suggestions - i'm all ears.
